Nothing But Ridiculous Writing

When I thought I would write about a few lines about myself, I didn’t realize it would be this difficult. I don’t know where to start and I am quite certain that I am not the only one who faces this dilemma of racking the brains and staring at a blank screen. Writing about oneself can be one of the toughest things to do and I find writing opening sentences to be notoriously difficult. No matter how much I scrunch my face and bite my nails; there is nothing that stands out. I am an amateur and quite recently I discovered the passion for writing. The earliest memory of my writing is perhaps in grade three; we had these cursive writing and creative writing element to our English class as a part of the curriculum. About once a week, we were given a subject prompt, and we had to write a story or a short essay for about ten minutes. I vaguely remember writing stories and essays that made no sense (not any different from what I do now). But otherwise, I am a bit old fashioned; who thinks the world is spinning a little too fast. I am mildly intelligent and socially presentable with looks that won’t scare your dog. I am an avid reader and a foodie. So, I read when I eat, and I eat when I read. Someday, I am hoping to be rich enough to realize that money can’t buy happiness. If you would like to connect, you are most welcome. You can expect some intellectual conversations and some snide remarks.
